Penso che il percorso dei moderni creativi dovrebbe essere proprio così: un mix del proprio Dna e di esperienze di altri luoghi e culture. E così ha fatto Antonello che crea le bellissime borse Pibiones.
Antonello è sardo e fin da bambino si è interessato alla tradizione di tessitura della sua terra, poi crescendo, dopo aver fatto esperienze nel mondo della moda e un master in sviluppo dei prodotti moda a Londra, ha deciso di creare qualcosa di suo, che rifletesse il suo 'dentro' e il suo 'fuori'. Sono nate così le borse Pibiones che fondono tessuti derivati dall'antica tecnica di tessitura sarda a 'Pibiones' con forme moderne, manici di bambù o legno per delle borse molto boho chic!
Per ora si possono vedere e ordinare online oppure nella casa-studio di Antonello a Londra, ma nel 2008 ci sarà il lancio vero e proprio sul mercato e scommetto che le vedremo negli shops più interessanti!

Antonello is from Sardinia and since he was a child was interested in traditional textiles, then growing up, after working in the fashion field and getting a BA in Products Development at the London College of Fashion, he decided to create his own accessories label that reflects his "inside" and his "outside". So Pibiones bags were born: they melt sardinian traditional textiles(came out from weaving technique "a pibiones") with modern shapes, bamboo or wood handles for boho chic bags!
