When I saw "Flower project" by Kiyotaka Hatanaka , I felt in love with it. I think that "Flower project" photos, so simple and natural, express the interior beauty of the shooted people.People seems to have given up the external appearance and the agressivity; they express only a sort of interior beauty and calm.
This photo project was born in Columbia flower market, east London. Kiyotaka went there and the atmosphere was so nice that he wanted to try finding where it comes from. Then he started taking portraits of people carrying flowers and plants, just bought.
According to Kiyotaka, getting flowers for someone(a friend, a girl friend,the family,etc) is a very beautiful habit: it is thinking of someone with warm heart. In Columbia flower market Kiyotaka realized this: if all the people in the world thought of someone, the things would go well. What have I to say more? I love this way of thinking and for that I love Kiyotaka's photography so much!

Quando ho visto la serie di foto del progetto "Flowers project" di Kiyotaka Hatanaka, me ne sono subito innamorata! Penso che queste foto, così semplici e naturali, riescano ad esprimere un qualcosa della bellezza interiore delle persone fotografate.Sembra quasi che queste persone abbiano abbandonato tutte le maschere esteriori, le difese e l'aggressività che normalmente ci accompagnano nelle relazioni con gli altri; queste persone sembrano l'espressione della loro bellezza esteriore e di una certa qual serafica calma.
Il progetto è nato in un mercato dei fiori nell'east London, il Columbia flower market. Kiyotaka andava là alla domenica e ci trovava un'atmosfera molto serena e così volle capire quale fosse la causa di questa serenità...
Incominciò a scattare foto alle persone che compravano fiori e piante. Secondo il fotografo comprare fiori per qualcuno(per degli amici, per una fidanzata, per la propria famiglia,ecc) è bellissimo: è pensare a qualcuno con affetto.Facendo foto nel Columbia flowers market, Kiyotaka si è reso conto di una cosa molto importante:se tutte le persone nel mondo pensassero a qualcuno, le cose andrebbero meglio!
Cosa posso dire? Io amo questo modo di vedere le cose e sarà per questo che mi piacciono tanto le fotografie di Kiyotaka!
