In Kruishoutem,Belgio,è nato il museo Shoes or no Shoes?,un favoloso museo di... scarpe!
Il museo è diviso in 2 sezioni:una sezione etnografica, con una grandissima collezione di scarpe di differenti culture e diverse epoche; l'altra sezione del museo è dedicata alle scarpe d'artista. La collezione delle scarpe d'artista nasce dall'idea di Pierre Bogaerts and Veerle Swenters di chiedere a vari artisti di trasformare le scarpe in oggetti. Da ciò si spiega il nome del museo! Sono le scarpe solamente delle scarpe o degli oggetti? Io potrei rispondere sicuramente degli oggetti che dicono molto di noi!

Per adesso si può visitare il museo solo online, poichè aprirà a novembre 2007.

In Kruishoutem,Belgium,was born Shoes or no Shoes? museum,a faboulous museum of shoes!

The museum is divided in 2 sections: one section is about tribal and ethnographic footwear, with a large collection of shoes from different countries and different ages; the other section concern artists shoes: is a collection started by Pierre Bogaerts and Veerle Swenters many years ago. They asked to various artist to transform shoes in objects. So the question shoes or no shoes? Are the shoes only plain shoes or objects? I could say objects that say so much about you!
